TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez is as pretty a French village as can be, its stone buildings pretty much intact from the 13th century. This quaint dwelling was made inside a Cartusian monastery from that time, and many major structures like the town hall and the school are part of this former monastery, turning the whole village into one big tourist attraction. The intricate stonework and frescoes in many places are worthy of admiration.
