Coldwater is a picturesque city located in the Coldwater Township of Branch County. Coldwater gets its name from the eponymous river that runs into the city from the south, starting at Coldwater Lake. Its beautiful geographical location makes Coldwater a splendid tourist town that's perfect for adventure seekers. Set in the middle of sprinkles of little freshwater lakes, the city is an ideal starting point for scenic nature trails. Also steeped in history and culture, Coldwater is home to Tibbits Opera House, the second-oldest theater in the state. The Little River Railroad, a heritage railroad offering steam train rides is another fun attraction in the town, especially for kids.
