Zita, formerly known as The Winter Palace, was built in 1913 and is the oldest cinema theater in Stockholm. The theater has been refurbished several times. It has three screens with seating capacities of 140, 45, and 30 seats. In the lobby, there is a small restaurant, where you can eat, have a cup of coffee, or drink a glass of beer before and after the movie. The nightclubs and bars around Stureplan are at a short distance. Zita has a repertoire consisting of mainly non-American films, and it is the right place if you are looking for films that have not been picked up by major distributors.
