A picturesque jewel of Lake Tahoe, Eagle Falls is a dual waterfall located in Emerald Bay State Park and Desolation Wilderness within Eldorado National Forest. This stunning waterfall, divided into Upper Eagle Falls and Lower Eagle Falls, cascades down several cliffs before flowing into Emerald Bay. A footbridge over the upper falls provides marvelous views of the surrounding majestic granite mountains and lush green pine forests, as well as views of Emerald Bay. Hikers can also continue their journey up the trail, beyond the falls, to explore the gorgeous, glacial Eagle Lake.
