Located off Mount Rose Highway in Nevada, Galena Creek Visitor Center is set in the midst of lush green woodlands, canyons and streams. The visitor center’s main aim is to educate visitors about the resources that are found in the Galena Creek area. Head to this facility and enjoy the panoramic views of the majestic Lake Tahoe. This facility also showcases a large number of taxidermy birds. They host a number of events like guided hikes and education camps for children of all ages.
