Located on the north end of the Magnificent Mile, and about a 20-minute taxi ride to the McCormick Place Convention Center, this is a large tourist-class hotel with 424 rooms and 28 suites. The hotel is well-known for housing visiting sports teams, but the staff frowns upon other guests' attempts to snap athletes' pictures. Guests are better advised to find their entertainment at the nearby Oak Street Beach, Hancock Observatory, The 900 North Michigan Shops and Water Tower Place.
