Home of the Bromley-Davenport family since Domesday times, Capesthorne Hall is a magnificent and nationally renowned 18th-century building. The hall is beautifully furnished with paintings and sculptures, furniture and tapestry. This also includes a collection of Italian treasures and Colonial furnishings brought over from Philadelphia. A small Georgian Chapel stands in the grounds, which also has a chain of man-made lakes, a woodland walk and popular nature trail.
