The Arco della Pace, also known as the Arch of Peace, is a triumphal arch located in Milan, Italy. Constructed between 1807 and 1838, it was originally named the Porta Sempione in honor of Napoleon Bonaparte's victories. Following the defeat of Napoleon, the arch was redesigned and given its current name to symbolize peace.
