Visit this small, steep, ancient community and you'll be sure to take away a slice of Devon history with you. See the Visitor Centre, workshops, 14th Century quay and relax on a boat trip. Tour a 19th Century fisherman's cottage and sup a pint at one of the two inns. See the work of local craftspeople and artists and browse round the Charles Kingsley Exhibition. Meet the donkeys that are used to fetch and carry up the steep cobbled streets. Going is very hilly for wheelchairs but there are facilities in visitor center.
