Felbrigg Hall is one of East Anglia's many impressive stately homes. A little less grandiose than its louder sibling Blickling Hall, Felbrigg is a quieter, yet equally fine, seventeenth century house situated within a stone's throw of Cromer about half an hour from Norwich. The house boasts a large collection of paintings, a superbly restored domestic wing, and is set in majestic surrounding parkland. The National Trust does stately homes very well. East Anglia's splendid collection is unrivaled in terms of the grandeur of the buildings, the number of them, and their close proximity to one another.
