Chatfield State Park

Set in the Colorado foothills, this park boasts a world of outdoor recreation. Swim on the seasonal open beach, try your luck with fishing at the reservoir, or take advantage of the scenic marina and go boating. Hike and bike the easy paved and unpaved trails or visit the B&B livery and take to the park on horseback. Additionally, land has been set aside for camping and picnicking. The setting is conducive for wildlife viewing and during their season, you are certain to see great blue herons on the south side of the park.
