Spend an hour or two in Newport getting dirty and smelling sweet. This small farm is just a few miles from Newport's beaches and grows acres of berries. Sweet Berry allows visitors to pick their own strawberries, purchased by the pound, during the early summer season. Farm hands will provide materials and instructions for berry picking and the farm welcomes families and small children. This farm also offers fresh eggs, honey and cut flowers for purchase as well as seasonal fruits, vegetables and homemade wreaths.
