Do not confuse this Hollywood with the cinematic Tinseltown on America's West Coast. Florida's Hollywood is of another league, mostly known for its beautiful promenade. Miles of the pristine ocean run along the scenic boardwalk which sees scores of skaters, cyclists and joggers, on their daily runs. Beach games, twilight parties, water sports, sea-facing bars and beautiful bodies, are some reasons why tourists flock here each summer. Downtown Hollywood has a flavor of its own with pedestrian-friendly pathways, art galleries, boutiques, brick walls and not to forget, the street parties that define this city's vibrant streak.
