Located on the Sieg and Agger Rivers, Siegburg is a picturesque city with cobblestone streets and historic buildings in the city center. The city can trace its roots back to 1064 when the Michaelsberg Abbey was founded. Soon a settlement grew near the abbey, which became Siegburg. Siegburg is also known for its Medieval Christmas Market.
