Museumplein is home to a number of Amsterdam's biggest and most important museums: the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, and the Diamond Museum. The area also encompasses a variety of shopping opportunities as well as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. The huge lawn is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine in between museum visits. Throughout the year, you can find a variety of fun events happening here like festivals and concerts.
