Steele Indian School Park is home to various local and native American events. The Gourds Dance, to commemorate the military is hosted at this very venue. The park also is the summit for the Native American Recognition Day Parade. It also plays host to the Arizona Indian Festival and April's Phoenix Pride. When not bustling with festivities, the Indian School Park has a Dog Park, Amphitheater, a World War I memorial hall and a 15-acre park, aesthetically equipped with fountains to relax and explore.
