Having a capacity of 67,000 the 'Estadio Nacional de Chile' is known as one of the largest stadiums in Chile. This stadium was inaugurated on 3rd December 1938 and has hosted a number of important events. The stadium has been one of the venues for the 1962 FIFA World Cup and the finals of the 1953 World Basketball Championship. Known as the national stadium of Chile, this place also features other amenities like a gymnasium, swimming pool and tennis courts.
