Das Rind which translates into 'The Beef' is a cultural center in Rüsselsheim which sees hundreds of visitors on a daily basis. An unimaginable spectrum of cultural events take place here ranging from cabaret shows, stand-up comedy, mime artists, acrobats, musicians, street plays, bizarre dramas, movie screenings, political events, poetry readings and much more. The centre does not restrict these events just to the official premises at Mainstrasse; some events are even held at small cafes or barns nearby. Upcoming artists are given a chance to get trained for no cost and they can present themselves before live audiences. The website contains a comprehensive list of upcoming events.
