The Coronation Hall, more popularly known as the Coro is a premier art and cultural venue of Ulverston, the one with a rich history. It dates back to 1911, when it was constructed to commemorate the coronation of King George V, thus giving it its name. It has been at the forefront of Ulverston's cultural life, holding stage to multiple theater performances, music concerts, ballets, and operas down the decades. The hall has a huge capacity and hosts business conferences, weddings, exhibitions and coffee mornings, along with the diverse cultural events.
