Nantes is the capital of the Pays de la Loire region, located on the Loire River. This city is rich in history and culture, which can be explored at the Musée d'histoire de Nantes. This riverside city also has a beautiful promenade full of attractive buildings, with Île de Nantes visible a short distance away. Other than visiting the island, a stroll along Parc de Beaulieu and a trip to the Arts Museum of Nantes is also highly recommended.
