The sporting destination of Bedford, the Bedford International Athletics Stadium is a full-fledged leisure center. Operating since long, the stadium is the only one in the province to have got a government accreditation. After a major refurbishment, the place is not only a stadium hosting sporting events but it has also been developed into a recreation center. It consists of two main divisions, the indoor arena which houses facilities for different types of indoor sports like table tennis; and the outdoor section which holds a sprint track, eight courts for badminton and team sports like football, and an athletic events area.
