The multipurpose Rapides Parish Coliseum, situated in Alexandria, serves as an important arts and sports arena. Completed in the year 1965, this arena has seen visitors like Elvis Presley, Martin Luther King Jr, Ronald Reagan and many such prolific personalities. The arena houses luxury suites, office space, merchandise store, multipurpose rooms, locker rooms and a catering kitchen, deeming it to be fully equipped with all the necessary and modern amenities and arrangements.
