Le Moyne College was established in 1946 as a Jesuit institute and enjoys a favorable position in most national university rankings. The 160-acre (64.75 hectare) campus consists of various departmental buildings and green lawns. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs in business, nursing, anthropology, software applications, global studies and Irish literature among other disciplines. Those who are unsure of their major can also opt for general programs. It attracts academically-strong students and sports enthusiasts.
