Stoughton Opera House

Located on East Main Street, the Stoughton Opera House sits on the second level of the iconic Stoughton City Hall. The opera house was originally called the city auditorium when it was first opened to the public in the year 1901. The theater was extensively damaged in the 1950s due to harsh weather conditions which caused it to decay. It wasn't until 1983 when the 'Friends of the Opera House' decided to restore the structure to its former glory. Today, the hall struts its Victorian-style embellishments with pride.
