TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
A 40-minute ferry ride takes you to this lush tropical island at the port of Sekupang. Several duty-free shops greet you at the ferry terminal, selling everything from European cognac to Sumatran wood crafts at prices much lower than those in Singapore. Five minutes away is the domestic ferry terminal, where speedboats can take you to other Sumatran destinations. For avid golfers, there is the 18-hole Indah Puri Golf Club just outside Sekupang. Ferries depart daily every half-hour from the World Trade Centre to Sekupang.
