This magnificent four-star Belle Epoque hotel was the first to be built on the Promenade des Anglais, Nice's seafront promenade, in 1842. King Frederick Augustus of Saxony and Grand Duke Constantine Nicolaievitch are just some of the illustrious guests it has welcomed over the years, and it remains a place of great distinction and living history. Sumptuously decorated rooms (some of which have a sea view) are Provencal in style and the hotel has its own delightful art nouveau-style.
