Malzhaus can trace its roots clear back to the 13th century, when the foundations of its barrel vaults were first laid into the stone of Plauen. This ancient building has seen several iterations since then, though none were likely so fun as its latest: a concert venue, movie theater, cabaret and gastronomie all rolled into one.
