Located in the southern region of Provence, Abbaye De Montmajour was one a Benedictine monastery known for its rock-carved graves and colossal unfinished church. Through the years this fortified structure has witnessed many important events in the history of the the region including the 1348 black plague. Housed within the imposing monastery are several other historic and religious sites including the Crypt of St Benedict and The Tower of Pons de l'Orme.
