1450 Constitution Avenue Northwest, The President's Park, Washington, DC, United States, 20004
Nestled just south of the White House, The Ellipse, also known as President's Park South, is a 52-acre haven of green, encircled by an oval trail. The park is home to a number of monuments, including the famous Ellipse Meridian Stone. The Ellipse is often used as a gathering place for large public events, including the National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony and the Fourth of July fireworks display. You can enjoy strolling through the park, picnicking on its lawns, or simply enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding landmarks. The park is particularly charming during the spring and summer months, when the trees are in full bloom, creating a picturesque landscape. However, it's worth noting that due to its proximity to the White House, security measures may be in place during certain times, so it's best to check for any closures or restrictions before visiting.
