Mardi Gras opened its doors in 1999. The whole purpose of the place was to create an ambiance where people enjoy their quality time with refreshing drinks accompanied by blues, soul and funk music reverberating in the background. Popular bands and artists such as O'funk'illo, Mick Taylor, Dan Bern and Sonny Vincent have offered their live performances here in the past.
