Officially 'De Roos, Centre for Personal and Spiritual Development', as the name suggests, is the de-stress destination of the city. Spread over a huge area surrounded by the natural greens, this center for spirituality is the largest in the Netherlands. De Roos offers regular courses, readings and lectures on various aspects of human consciousness and the earthly life. Simple rooms that serve as the meditating grounds for some and a relaxing change for others, are available here on hire. Besides, the center houses a Roos shop on its first floor, that offers nothing less than a souvenir of the memories of this place. A spacious but modest art gallery is another important component of the center. The gallery is open to exhibitions and events of all natures, including the eternal form of art.
