Basilika Niederalteich is an ancient monastery in Germany dating back to 741 BCE. It is a must-visit site for history and architecture buffs and its splendorous Baroque interiors are a feast for the eyes. Indeed, you can spend an hour simply admiring the spellbinding façade, white columns and vaulted, stucco ceilings with magnificent frescoes. The ornate golden gates and windows, high altar and the resplendent altarpiece are unbelievably spectacular. The monastery also houses five bells dating from the 19th to 21st Centuries and an organ with 27 registers and two manuals.
