Modeled after the iconic Lego bricks that were an indisputable part of growing up, Legoland Billund is a sprawling theme park. It is deemed to be the largest park in Denmark outside of Cophenhagen. Covering an area of 14 hectares (35 acres), this theme park features several rides, zones and play areas that are centered around Lego bricks. This park constitutes of several themed areas, from the cowboy-themed Legoredo Town and Adventure Land, to the pirate-themed Pirate Land and the medieval muses of the Knight's Kingdom. The most striking centerpiece of this park however, is the skillfully-crafted Miniland, a comprehensive landscape of Denmark featuring its most important landmarks, all made from Lego bricks.
