A venue for entertaining theatre and opera performances, the history of Théâtre Municipal dates back to 1823 when the council decided to build a theater based on the designs of famous French architect Eloi Labarre. However, the theater was destroyed by a fire in 1854 and the current structure was built in the middle of 19th Century by Albert Debaysier. A cultural landmark of the town, Théâtre Municipal is the place to catch-up on a plethora of events.
