Theater tri-bühne in the southern part of the city remains one of the prime performing arts venues. Established in the year 1975, it started as a modest drama hall but got its full-fledged studio stage in the year 1979. The present building was designed almost a decade ago and ever since it plays host to a number of local and international performing troupes. Theater tri-bühne boasts of a diverse program, showcasing acts across genres likes experimental drama, comedies, tragedies, and classics. Additionally, several epics are also recreated here. A noted cultural landmark of Stuttgart, it has played venue to acclaimed shows by talented actors like Sofie Alice Miller, Sebastian Huber, and Natascha Kuch in the past.
