The town of Nykøbing Mors lies overlooking the waters of the Limfjord, and is located at the mouth of the Nykøbing Bugt (Nykøbing Bay). As the capital of the island of Mors, this town is an economic, cultural and touristic focal point. An old fishing town, archaeological findings have traced the founding of this town in the 13th Century, and most of the houses and structures that one sees today around the town, have been in existence for centuries. Among these structures is the St. Clemens Church, a sight to behold for any visitor. Other attractions include Museum Mors, Højriis Castle, and Limfjordsteatret.
