Arlene Francis Center for Spirit, Art and Politics

Alienation and isolation are common in today's highly sequestered and segregated existence; connecting with the natural environment, including other humans, is more out of a monetary need rather than a yearning for meaningful association. It is with the intention of tackling this problem that the Arlene Francis Center for Spirit, Art and Politics was created.Operating for several years, this foundation used to work in affiliation with the New College of California till 2008, and today has its own venue, housed in a 19th Century structure, which has been modified to be environmentally friendly.
