Charlton Park Estate

A property that has been the residence of the Earl of Suffolk since the late 1500s, Charlton Park lays in the town of Malmesbury. As with most old estates, Charlton Park boasts a rich past, dating back to the early to mid 1500s, when the land on which the house stands was bought by a wealthy clothier after the Abbey of Malmesbury, which stood on the land for several years, was dissolved. The house was completed in 1607, and the first Earl of Suffolk moved in to set into motion centuries of tradition.
