The Arcata Theatre has been a part of the landscape of Arcata since 1938, when it used to showcase Hollywood films of that time. Over the decades, the ownership of the theater changed several hands and landed with local residents Lara and Brian Cox, who re-opened it as Arcata Theatre Lounge in 2009. Offering a comprehensive entertainment experience to its customers, this historic Art Deco venue combines aspects of a concert hall with a restaurant and bar to present an amazing venue.
