People's United Center is one such facility that can be found on the university's York Hill Campus in Hamden. Opened in January 2007, this multi-purpose sports facility boasts a basketball arena and an ice hockey arena, both equipped with exquisite amenities and can hold up to nearly 7000 spectators.
