High Street

Visitors to the resort town of Southend-on-Sea are exposed to a cluster of high-end retail showrooms as well as some of the most peculiar independent shops at the town's center. Located close to the Shoeburyness railway station, this pedestrianized shopping street provides shoppers with several leading retail brand options such as Accessorize, Marks & Spencer, Dorothy Perkins and Carphone Warehouse. Bound by the Victoria Shopping Centre to the northern part of the street and the Royals Shopping Centre to the southernmost part, the High Street also includes a number of restaurants, cafes and bars, such as Costa Coffee and Starbucks. Apart from this, the Essex Farmer's Market, held on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, attracts a number of locals and tourists alike. Those looking for entertainment can check out the Odeon mutiplex theater, which is located close by as well. Walk in for a unique shopping experience.
