Dating back to 1134, Notre Dame de la Chapelle is a historical church nestled in Marolles district of Brussels. The church was established by Godfrey I of Leuven and adheres to Roman Catholic faith. The current church building was constructed in 1210 and was renovated in the 19th and 20th Century. The church houses many historic relics like a 12th Century wooden statue of Marguerite d'Antioche, 15th Century baptismal font, pulpit from 1721 and Peter Breughel's tomb.
