A special feature of the Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden is the introduction for a concert or a performance given in the foyer before the actual performance to orient listeners to the theme or the inspiration behind the creative work , be it music or dance or theater. Stadsgehoorzaal has three venues Grote Zaal, Breezaal and Aalmarktzaal, which are all available on rent for events, conferences etc. The Stadsgehoorzaal also has foyer spaces and smaller halls for meetings and workshops.
