Built in 1844, this stone building is a part of the Norwegian Mining Museum. It is home to Smeltehytta, a ballroom which underwent a renovation in 1986 and was re-opened in a grand ceremony by King Olav V. Smeltehytta is mostly used as a banquet and concert venue and is also used for the Kongsberg Jazz Festival.
