Durham Arts Council

Located in the historic district of Downtown Durham is the Durham Arts Council, the hub of art and culture in the community. The Gallery frequently puts on excellent and well-curated exhibitions that display artwork in a wide variety of mediums by some of the city's most talented artists. They also host art classes and workshops in theater, dance, ceramics, drawing, and painting. They also offer beautiful rental spaces for weddings, receptions, and other local events. The Durham Arts Council truly encapsulated the city's artistic elements and definitely warrants a visit when in the city.
