Pier 84, the largest of New York's piers is a lively hub of activity in the heart of the city. A multipurpose outdoor space, the pier is part of the Hudson River Park. With a number of fun outdoor activities, cultural events, concerts and more, it's a great place to check out for local events. A constant buzz of activity surrounds the place with families out with kids, people skating or biking, boat rides, kayaking and more. The newly constructed pier features an interactive play area for kids, that is both fun and educational. If you're just in the mood to laze, settle in with some music or a book and soak up the sun on the central lawn. A good place to enjoy a view of New York's skyline or take a break at one of the several cafes and eateries on the pier. Pier 84 offers an enjoyable day out for everyone.
