O'Melveny Park has a long-standing history dating back to 1973. This park was named after Henry W. O'Melveny, who is known to establish one of the oldest law firms in Los Angeles, O'Melveny & Myers. Nestled on the Santa Susana Mountains, this 672-acre parkland (272 hectares) features rugged woodlands and grasslands with a rolling landscape. A popular haunt among hikers due to the numerous trails, it also features equestrian trails and picnic spots. A must visit for birders, nature lovers as well as wildlife enthusiasts.
