The Alte Feuerwache (The Old Fire Station) is a multi-purpose cultural center in the Nordstadt. Theater and concerts are part of the broad program. The center is for the young and old alike, and caters for the most varied of nationalities, who meet here and in the adjacent bar to enjoy the productions. The room has 300 seats, and the stage is especially large. This center has become a place for the community to meet and interact and is one of the most lively cultural spots of Cologne.
