Waldbühne Jonsdorf remains a vibrant performing arts venue in the heart of Jonsdorf. Located on Im Wiesental Strasse, it is a part of the bustling Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater. The theater building was built in the 1950 to serve the local community of Jonsdorf. Waldbühne was founded in the year 1953. Ever since, it has played host to several crowd-pulling concerts, plays and other cultural events. Several noted artists and groups like Das singende klingende Bäumchen and Die Hexe Baba Jaga have performed here in the past.
