Alter Schlachthof is an upscale concert venue with three event spaces: the Großer Saal, Kleiner Saal and Mittelfoyer. The Großer Saal is the largest among these three and has a seating capacity of 1040 visitors. It can even accommodate 2000 people standing for events like cocktail parties. You can attend comedy shows as well as concerts in a variety of contemporary musical genres. Popular street musicians, vocalists and bands entertain patrons with ballads, folk songs, musicals and instrumental beats. Be sure to book a ticket in advance as the events are very popular.
